Reef & Beach Resort Jambiani ★★★★

What an awesome resort. The staff were superb, just so friendly and welcoming. This is truly the place to go if you want to experience high levels of hospitality. The resort is overall beautiful, just so relaxing, and absolute value for money.

The pool closes too early. They should at least let guest swim until 10/11pm, sun is too hot during the day for some of us to swim.

Food was okay. Seating to eat was difficult as once it was full downstairs, you had to go upstairs, where there wasn't much service. Perhaps everyone should eat at different times? The a'la carte restaurant had really delicious food - at a cost. There wasn't always enough deck chairs at the pool as some visitors seem to 'book' them for the day. Bigger cocktail glasses would also be good as drinks were super strong.

Beautiful beach, beautiful facilities

I found the food a bit greasy, and been quite overwhelmed that while the staff knew I am with a small baby, thwy put me in the room near to a bar speaker

The resort is so gorgeous! The views surrounding the entire property were amazing. We had the all-inclusive package and the food at the buffet was great, a very wide variety of foods, and all super fresh. We stayed in the beachfront villa and the room was simple but good and had air conditioning. It is not as if you spend much time in the room anyway. The villas have their own private beach lounge chairs too.

The Spa treatment was horrible. A salesman came up to me when I was sitting on the beach chairs and was talking to me about the packages, he made it sound amazing and I decided to book the big cleopatra package as it was my husband's birthday the next day and thought it would be a nice surprise. The first thing we experienced as we walked into the spa was a staff member smoking a cigarette on the stairs near a window, which definitely is not what you want when you walk into a spa. The staff members didn't speak very much English and could not explain to us what they were about to do, and instead just pointed to things. We had a sauna and and then immediately went to sit on a burning hot table and they scrubbed us with some sort of coconut, and put something on our faces and left us in the room. Because we had just come from the sauna and were on a hot table, with the sun shining directly on us from the floor to ceiling window, we were sweating and the products were getting in our eyes, so we had to sit up and wipe our faces off with towels. they then gestured for us to follow them out of the room. and pointed to a hallway that had 2 showers in it with no doors attached. There were both men and women going past and it was very uncomfortable for both of us. when we went back into the room with the hot tables I could barely lay on it as it was so hot, they needed to put a towel down for me and even then I felt like it was burning me. They then used a towel to put foam on us and the person doing my husbands actually flung it into my eyes as she slapped it down on him, they then had us sit on the edge of the hot tables while they poured water on us from a big bucket, we felt like dogs being washed. While we were sitting there, half naked, they were opening the doors and walking in and out with other people outside the room. We then went for the massage which was okay, but the music was so so loud it actually gave me a headache.

Everything was amazing

The air conditioner was not as strong. I had to keep it running all day. It is a minor issue, to say the least

Everything! This place is truly paradise. The photos are very accurate - it is a delightful escape from routine, a hidden gem. This resort struck the perfect balance for me - not too big so it was not overwhelming, but definitely not too small so I never got bored. My room was massive and the view from my balcony was simply breathtaking. The food was great and varied every day. The selection of desserts at every meal…OMG. The staff were friendly, compared to other hotels I stayed at if felt sincere and not like people were being nice just to get a tip. The staff were approachable, everything was accessible, I’m definitely going to visit this hotel again. My only complaint is about the premium inclusive nonsense

I guess an elevator would have been nice, also the whole “premium” versus “regular” all inclusive really annoyed me. It seemed like the selection of cocktails included under regular all inclusive was quite limited and was never made aware in advance of the premium option.

I loved your African Night Dinner all the food was on point and delicious. Amazing staff go above and beyond.

There is a hose next to the toilet to clean one self.

Shower pressure was often non existent and frequent power cuts There was a glass panel above our door and the neighbours bedroom light kept coming in and made it difficult to sleep!! Buffet food was mediocre, A La Carte you had to pay for was very good

The hotel is very nice, the food is great. We read before that that it gets boring, but we've been there for almost two weeks and didn't have to eat the same food twice, also the restaurant staff is exemplary how a hotel restaurant should work, well done. The staff is very nice, helpful. You have to get used to the "pole-pole" (slowly-slowly) lifestyle, meaning if you ask for something it will take some time, but everything will be done well. The room was very nice, houskeeping did their job very well. The bed is a bit high, but you get used to jumping on it. There weren't many beach boys, so we could relax in peace. The coctails in the all inclusive package were nice as well. The monkeys are very nice, they don't steal just jump and walk around you, don't like to be touched, which is good as they are wild animals. I loved that there are cats as well, a bit demanding sometimes but they are fed well. The jetty bar is beautiful, you can get to the ocean from there immadiately.

We had two nights when we didn't have flowing water in our bungalow, but after we let the reception know, in 30 mins they solved the problem. The only thing I wasn't happy about are the packages, there is full board (breakfast, lunch, dinner no drinks), all inclusive and premium all inclusive. Usually all inclusive means ALL inclusive :D We chose the all inclusive, it contained soft drinks, snacks between breakfast-lunch and lunch-dinner and some alcoholic drinks, coctails. The premium meant that you can have al'a' carte food in the same restaurant and also you could have some other coctails alcoholic drinks, coffee and ice cream for free.

staff were friendly, the view was stunning and the option of all inclusive was great

we had an issue with a mattress that took a little longer than we thought to sort. also the all inclusive finished at 11, when the bar was only open until 12, seemed a little pointless

felt at home, a very good view of the ocean, plenty of good views away from the ocean on the resort premises, good hygiene, welcoming staff, variety of food, clean pool, spacious rooms, credible customer service, wow

-the jetty bar can be better, -staff at the bar need to be trained on cocktail making, -poor wifi connection -pork should be included to the menu, -the animation could include more activity such as games, races etc, -special event decorating can do so much better, -cake decorating could be better -a handful of staff treated me differently because of my race which made me feel discouraged -check in time should be adjust to a much earlier time

amazing turquoise water mesmerizing views , the best thing is warm knee deep clean sparkling water where you can go walking a mile hand in hand full family also the belly dance performance was cool. thanks for making my daughters bday memorable , the cake cutting celebration was awesome

the property didn’t have the intercom and water jets in the loo , the furniture is also a bit dated while the TV doesn’t have much channels to surf

Cleanliness is perfect Staff are amazing, Sada and Hamad from the restaurant, Faridy from the reception, Tamer from the spa and of course Petra, very friendly and amazing people Astonishingly amazing food variety for dinner and breakfast (lunch not much) Great pool and great bar on the ocean Cute little monkeys also Great animation team

The rooms dont have a door for the bathroom which is very uncomfortable Also no bidet Location is far away from most of the attractions

We spent 5 days in this hotel. Jetty bar was our favourite place and we didnt spend much time in any other area of the hotel like swimming pools etc becouse it is not crowded ,has great views, a little bit of wind was awesome during hot days, you can choose chairs on the shadow if you want, walk on the beach when the tide is low - even without shoes to water - and swim when the tide is high. Very friendly staff! Food was ok, wide range of fresh salads and fruits. Drinks in the bar are ok too. Bungalow was specious and clean, ac was working well.

The GM Mr. Peter was really helpful in addressing our concerns.
